I spotted this wonderful minimalistic Do It Yourself dinnertable slash home office desk on Kauf Dich Gluecklich Blog! Wow how I wish I was more of a 'handy' person right now :) If you're brave and feeling up for it, you can get a tutorial here (it's in German, but hey: nothing that Google Translate can't fix) :)
